The Campus Mediation Program, which is an organization dedicated to resolving conflicts between students and others, recently held an art competition for the creation of their new logo. The winner of the competition was Ashley Vance who won a $200 check from the program. A total of six participants from the art department were involved in the competition and were voted on by the Campus Case Coordinator, Eric Brailsford-Cato, and the other committee members. Brailsford-Cato said, “We wanted something that would symbolize mediation at WCU. We wanted to portray the concept of reaching mutually acceptable agreements on campus disputes at Western Carolina.
